Creative Properties Launches Artist Trish Biddle for Licensing

New York – Creative Properties is pleased to announce that it is licensing the artwork of contemporary painter Trish Biddle. The artist's unique style captures the Art Deco sensibility of fashion, elegance, and sophistication. Her colorful, figurative images romantically evoke the tagline she has trademarked, "Glamorous Women in Fabulous Places."
Biddle has been designated the official artist of the 2009 Westminster Kennel Club Dog Show in New York City in February. The artist will be signing copies of her official Westminster poster at the Saks Fifth Avenue flagship store on Friday, February 6. She will also be painting during prime time on national television on Tuesday, February 10 during the Dog Show's highly viewed second night, when the winner is announced.
As the official artist of the 2008 Kentucky Derby, whose work was featured on the official poster as well as on a wide array of products, Biddle was the best-selling Kentucky Derby artist of all time.
Creative Properties is positioning the Biddle brand to appeal primarily to women, particularly those who aspire to and have a passion for fashion, travel and luxury. They will initially focus on product categories including gifts and collectibles, social expressions, stationery, art and design, home goods, apparel and accessories. Biddle has already demonstrated strong consumer appeal at retailers including Target, Bed Bath & Beyond, Michaels, T.J. Maxx, art.com, and Wal-Mart.
